Psychosomatik oder psychosomatische Erkrankung einfach erklärt:
Oft hört man von Patienten: „man hat mich in die Psychoschublade geschoben!“
Sicherlich passiert das immer wieder, wenn seltene Erkrankungen nicht erkannt werden.
Aber das Hauptproblem ist, dass viele Patienten den Begriff der Psychosomatik missverstehen.
Dieser Begriff beschreibt die Wechselwirkungen zwischen Psyche und Körper!
Körperliche (somatische) Beschwerden, vor allem chronische Beschwerden führen fast unvermeidbar zu zusätzlichen psychischen Belastungen.
Jeder von uns kennt das: 3 Tage Erkältung mit Fieber und Gliederschmerzen und unsere Familie oder Partner geben uns erste Anzeichen, dass man gerade nicht ganz einfach zu ertragen ist!
Vielleicht kann man sich so am besten vorstellen, wie es Menschen gehen muss, die über viel längere Zeiträume Schmerzen oder anderweitige Beeinträchtigungen ertragen müssen. Da reicht es nicht, sich nur um den Körper zu kümmern. Da braucht man auch mal Zuspruch oder verhaltenstherapeutische neue Ideen, wie man diese Belastungen durchhält, wie man sie in den Alltag integriert oder wie man sie lösen könnte.
Sollte Ihr Arzt Ihnen eine psychosomatische Behandlung vorschlagen, heißt dies nicht, dass er Ihre körperlichen Beschwerden nicht ernst nimmt. Es heißt nur, dass er nicht vergessen hat, sich auch um Ihr innerstes Befinden zu sorgen!
Natürlich gibt es auch die umgekehrten Fälle:
Chronischer Stress ist Gift für den Körper. Stresshormone führen zu Bluthochdruck, Herzrasen, Immunsuppression, Muskelverspannungen und Vielem mehr.
Es ist wissenschaftlich bewiesen, dass Dauerstress für den Körper weitreichende Folgen hat. Und es gibt eine sehr große Spannweite von Erkrankungen, die durch den Abbau von Stress geheilt oder gelindert werden könnten.
Auch hier heißt es nicht, dass man Sie in die Psychoecke drängen will. Es heißt nur, dass eine psychosomatische Mitbehandlung den Behandlungserfolg sehr günstig beeinflussen kann.
Wichtig ist: in einer psychosomatischen Klinik erfolgt auch eine weitere Diagnostik der körperlichen Beschwerden, denn niemand glaubt, dass die Patienten sich diese einbilden!
Wir wissen, dass Ihr Körper Probleme macht, aber der Heilungsansatz sollte ganzheitlich sein!
Es geht oft darum, neue Lösungsansätze zu finden, die über die reine Einnahme von Medikamenten hinaus gehen.
